Neighborhood Transformation: Changes in Recreational Spaces
In the area around Building No. 2 in Block VI, Vazha-Pshavela, students brought their tactical urbanism concepts to life. After the student workshop, we’ve been watching how the space is changing in real life.
Slowly, new plants have appeared and started to grow, also people have appeared who voluntarily decided to take care of them. What used to be a chaotic parking lot has transformed as well. The neighborhood has decided to block the park entrance to cars, and now only two resident vehicles park there overnight.
The furniture and play areas in the park remain undamaged, with visitors taking good care of everything.
We’ll keep watching how things continue to evolve.
