Ilia State University
Ilia State University was founded in 2006 as a result of a merger of six different academic institutions with long and varied histories. Currently, it is one of the leading research and educational institutions in Georgia. Representing a union of students and professors, ISU is a multifunctional educational and research institution offering a common space for academic and professional education and research with the joint efforts of its students, professors, teachers and researchers.
As part of Technology School, Architecture program (Master level) aims to equip students with an in-depth knowledge of the stages of the design process so that by applying modern tendencies, they will excel in performance of their duties and collaboration with specialists of related fields. The slogan of the academic program of architecture is “developing students into professionals. “
Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (OSACEA) is one of the leading technical universities in Ukraine. OSACEA is the successor to the traditions of the Odesa School of Construction Workers since 1891, and the Odesa Engineering and Construction Institute (OEСI) since 1930. The Academy prepares highly qualified engineering and scientific personnel for the construction industry in 4 institutes and 4 faculties. The training of architects began at the architectural faculty of the Engineering and Construction Institute, which in 1996 became the Architectural Institute, and in 2004 it became the Architectural and Artistic Institute. Educational qualification levels of specialists training are "Bachelor"; "Master"; "Doctor of Philosophy"; "Doctor of Science".
OSACEA's international recognition as one of the leaders of the national educational network of Ukraine is confirmed by the fact that almost 50 well-known universities worldwide collaborate with the university under long-term agreements. The high level of training of specialists has allowed the academy to become a member of the European Association of Universities since 1992, and a member of the International Association of Universities since 1996.
Volkswagen Foundation
The Volkswagen Foundation is Germany's largest private, non-profit organization engaged in the promotion and support of academic research. Even though its name might suggest otherwise, it is not a corporate foundation and not affiliated to the Volkswagen automobile manufacturer. The purpose of the Foundation is the promotion of science and technology in research and higher education. The Foundation's funding programs address projects in the humanities and social sciences as well as science and technology in higher education and research – both in Germany and abroad. The Foundation’s administrative office is located in Hanover.
