Vake Beyond Facades

An Exhibition of Student Works
On June 17th, the Living Laboratory hosted an exhibition titled 'Vake Beyond the Facades' featuring works by Ilia State University's Architecture Program students.The exhibition showcased projects developed during the Urban Planning bachelor-level course. The focus of the projects was to study and analyze urban challenges in the blocks surrounding Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue, and in parallel propose design solutions.
Together with our guests, we explored the challenges specific to our project area, its similarities and differences with Vazha-Pshavela's 6th block, as well as strategies to overcome the difficulties.
